Abstract

|
A data mining solution(SAS Enterprise Miner) addresses the data mining process all through an intuitive point-and-click GUI. Combined with data warehousing and OLAP(OnLine Analytical Processing) technologies, it creates a synergistic, end-to-end solution that addresses the spectrum of knowledge discovery. OLAP is a category of software technology that enables analysts, managers and executives to gain insight into data through fast, consistent, interactive access to a wide variety of possible views of information that has been transformed from raw data to reflect the real dimensionality of the enterprise as understood by the user. In this paper, we introduce a Statistical Information System that combined with data warehouse and OLAP.
